Thank goodness today is the last day of school. I could really use a break! At 3:15 today I am done! I hope to spend this summer learning to cook better, getting and keeping the house spotless, and fixing/painting to make the house more our own. It's going to feel weird on Monday when Adam has to get up and go to work but I don't. I am really looking forward to spending some quality time with my furbabies.
So first this morning there is mass, which is where everyone is right now. Then there are end-of-the-year awards. I will probably skip out on this one. I didn't get a chance to give any of them anyway, since I was focused on making sure the 8th graders got theres. Then there is the K-2 talent show, which I will probably go to. Then I might have a class or two, and a 1 pm is the 3-8 talent show, which I am in charge of. Last year I was so stressed out about it. Not this year. I could really care less. My principle isn't here, and if the kids mess up, not a big deal. I'll just stand to the side and be in charge of the CD player. Or better yet, I might have one of the middle schoolers be in charge of it! That sounds like a plan!
I'm just going to sit back, try to clean my desk, and wait for the end of the day!
